FAQs - LAMS payment information

Frequently asked questions relating to payment information.

Why is the date on a remittance advice not the date that I receive payment?

The ‘payment’ date recorded on the Account NI remittance advice is the date the payment leaves the Account NI account, and not the date on which suppliers’ bank accounts are credited. Depending on your bank, it may take four working days before your account is credited.

Why is there no VAT breakdown on my Account NI remittance advice?

Remittance advices provided by Account NI give the gross value of the authorised payment and do not record the VAT breakdown. You can, however, view this information in the ‘Payment History’ page linked from the ‘Case Summary’ page on LAMS.
