This bulletin draws on findings from the 2010/11 Northern Ireland Crime Survey (NICS), a representative, continuous, personal interview survey of the experiences and perceptions of crime of 4,081 adults living in private households throughout Northern Ireland.

This report presents the findings of a 5 year longitudinal study (2006-2011) carried out by The Centre for Young Men’s Studies at the University of Ulster, funded by the Department of Education and the Department of Justice. 

This research report is based on the report ‘Taking Boys Seriously – A Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Male School-Life Experiences in Northern Ireland’. 

To revoke authorisations 7, 8 and 11 with effect from 1 January 2013, the day upon which the Legal Advice and Assistance (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 come into operation, thus putting the matters contained in these authorisations onto a legislative footing.&

Relates to legal advice and assistance given to a suspect who attends at a youth engagement clinic. 

To fund, consistent with the provisions of this authorisation, the retrial of the civil action brought under Writ issued in 2001 No. 3918, as ordered by the Court of Appeal in July 2011.

This Framework Document, which governs the relationship between the Department of Justice and FSNI, has been reviewed by the Agency and the Department in conjunction with the Department of Finance and Personnel.
