Legal aid counter fraud hotline

If you suspect any abuse of the legal aid system, you may contact our dedicated counter-fraud hotline to report your concerns.

The Legal Services Agency of Northern Ireland, in partnership with nidirect, has developed an e-portal where you can anonymously report anyone you think is committing legal aid fraud. Once the referral is made via the portal an investigation will be conducted by the Counter-Fraud Unit. Please note, the Agency cannot provide you with an update on the investigation or if any action is being taken against the person.
