    Consultation description

The purpose of this consultation is to seek views on a proposal by the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service (NICTS) to permanently close and dispose of Limavady Courthouse, resulting in the permanent reallocation of Limavady Adult Magistrates Court business to an alternative courthouse in the NICTS estate which provides better facilities.

This consultation does not propose any change to the current operational arrangement of the separate listing of Limavady Adult Magistrates Court business in Coleraine Courthouse.

The consultation is also seeking views on how Limavady Courthouse could be repurposed within the community, should a decision be taken to permanently close the courthouse.

Respondents are asked to answer the 3 consultation questions.

The best way to respond to the consultation is by using the online form.

Alternatively the NICTS Consultation Response Form can be completed.
