Legal Services Agency Northern Ireland (LSANI) operational performance and activity report, updated on a monthly basis providing detail on activity relating to the administration of Legal Aid in Northern Ireland.
Background
In line with its commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in the delivery of legal aid services, LSANI publishes a monthly Operational Performance and Activity Report.
This report offers timely insights into LSANI’s performance against key objectives and quantifies a range of legal aid administrative activities recorded on the Legal Aid Management System (LAMS). Data is presented by Category of Service and Criminal Court Tier, covering:
- Request Processing Times
- Volume and Value of Payment Requests (Received and Paid)
- Volumes of (Received and Processed):
- Application Requests;
- Authority Requests (including Exceptional Preparation); and
- Appeals and Reviews.
Reports and Key Performance Indicators for previous years remain available on the LSA Operational Performance area of the website.
Please note that figures contained in the report constitute Management Information. All figures reflect respective month-end positions and have not been retrospectively revised to incorporate any subsequent changes or adjustments made in succeeding months. Accordingly, figures covering individual month-end positions cannot be added together to provide an accurate cumulative statement.
