About the Information and Analysis Unit (IAU)
Information & Analysis Unit (IAU) is the statistical and research team posted within the Legal Services Agency Northern Ireland. Consisting of statisticians on secondment from the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) it provides an independent service to meet the research and statistical needs of the Agency and the wider Department.
LSA Information & Analysis Unit (IAU)
IAU produces and publishes annual Official Statistics outputs, as well as regular key performance indicators on the delivery of Legal Aid.
The Unit also delivers a range of management information to the Agency and its Board Members alongside the provision of a robust evidence base to inform the Department’s legal aid reform programme through a mix of qualitative and quantitative outputs.
