The Department of Justice conducted a recent engagement exercise to ascertain the need and support for the continued use of the power provided within the 2020 Act to extend the expiry date of the Act’s provisions on live links. Live links support the progression of court and tribunal business. The engagement occurred with the main users of the courts and tribunals in June to July 2023. This document provides a summary of the forty two responses received.
