The Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service (NICTS) has published a new Sustainability Delivery Plan that illustrates how the organisation will contribute to the Executive’s targets under the Climate Change Act.

Court and tribunal services are delivered from an historic and architecturally diverse estate, and this brings unique challenges in meeting energy efficiency targets and strategic sustainability outcomes.

The NICTS Sustainability Delivery Plan for 2025-32, builds on our Estate Strategy, and, through an Emissions Pathway, sets out how, when and by how much energy costs and carbon emissions will be reduced between now and 2032.

Developed around a whole estate approach, the interventions and projects included in the plan will allow us to deliver court and tribunal services in a more sustainable way.
