This document provides a summary of the responses received to the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service (NICTS) Consultation: Improving Cost Recovery in the Civil Courts.

This document has been revised to distinguish between any start-up costs associated with the NICTS Transformation Portfolio and resultant depreciation costs in the context of Managing Public Money Northern Ireland Chapter 6. It has also been revised to clarify that the gross income threshold for eligibility of a court fee exemption will not be revised at this juncture, but will be examined as part of any further court fee policy review.
