    Schedule 3 to the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Criminal Justice and Support for Victims) Act (Northern Ireland) 2015 (“the Act”) made provision for courts to be able to impose new Slavery and Trafficking Prevention Orders (STPOs).  Paragraph 22 of Schedule 3 to the Act requires the Department to issue statutory guidance for the Chief Constable in relation to the exercise of powers under Schedule 3 of the Act.  This guidance was first issued on 29 September 2016 and a revised version was issued on 17 February 2017.
