The Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service (NICTS) has published its Digital Strategy 2021-2026, which was recently approved by the NICTS Vision 2030 Strategic Oversight Group, whose membership includes the Lady Chief Justice, the Department of Justice Permanent Secretary and the NICTS Acting Director.
The strategy, development with staff, judiciary and key stakeholders, sets out the ambition and committment within NICTS to embrace technological advances to deliver future courts and tribunals services, enabled by digital solutions and new ways of working as set out within NICTS overarching Vision Statement launched by the Justice Minister in March 2021.
The successful delivery of the Digital Strategy provides the opportunity for NICTS to redesign and optimise service delivery models to tranform the way court and tribunal users access services and will make a significant contribution to the efforts of NICTS to improve and speed up access to justice as NICTS continues to work collaboratively with service users, staff and the judiciary to achieve this ambition.
