    Services

    Crown Court, and all County Courts sit in this court.  Staff can deal with fines, bails, maintenance payments and queries imposed at Antrim Court. Antrim is responsible for the administration of all crown court cases, small claims, civil cases, and divorces for Antrim, Ballymena, Coleraine, and Limavady.  

    Currently all magistrates courts sit in Ballymena Court House, administration remains in Antrim Court House. 

    County court appeals for all magistrates cases from Antrim, Ballymena, Coleraine and Limavady sit in Antrim bi-monthly.

    Magistrates' and Family Courts sit in Ballymena Court. Staff can deal with fines, bails and maintenance payments imposed at Ballymena Court.  Ballymena is responsible for the administration of all family proceedings cases for Antrim, Ballymena, Coleraine and Limavady courts.

    The telephone system at the Royal Courts of Justice has changed to NI Direct. The new telephone number is 0300 200 7812.

    Out of hours

    The NI Direct number will not be answered outside normal business hours.

    If the need for an OOH court arises after 18.00 (Mon – Fri), or at the weekend or on Public Holidays, the solicitor must contact the DR directly using the on call mobile number which has been provided to the relevant organisations.
