This bulletin presents data on first time entrants to the criminal justice system in Northern Ireland for the year 1 April 2012 – 31 March 2013.
It aims to provide an overview of the structure of the known offending population in 2012/13, with information on the breakdown of offences committed by new offenders and the disposals received. Findings for the 2012/13 year will allow some comparison with baseline figures published previously for 2011/12.
