PPE guidance document which sets out the criteria surrounding PPE.
The definition "PPE Range” was inserted in the 2005 Rules by the Legal Aid for Crown Court Proceedings (Costs) (Amendment) Rules (Northern Ireland) 2011 to enable certain higher fees, set out in Schedule 1 to the 2005 Rules, to be paid to members of the legal profession representing assisted persons in the Crown Court where the number of pages of prosecution evidence falls within prescribed page ranges.
