NILSC Mental Health Review Tribunal (MHRT) Scheme

Was originally part of LSC circular, LSC 08-14 annex 9. The Mental Health Review Tribunal (MHRT) Scheme was initially a pilot scheme and has now been introduced into legal aid legislation under Regulation 5 of the Legal Advice and Assistance (Amendment) Regulations Northern Ireland 2012. A standard fee scheme is in operation and the expected level of representation is solicitor or junior counsel.
