Inspections undertaken by Criminal Justice Inspection Northern Ireland (CJINI) add value to the work of FSNI. These are in addition to the value received from annual inspection by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) as part of its continued accreditation to ISO17025:2005.CJINI report 2014 CJINI report 2009
FSNI recognises CJINI reports as useful and objective external input into the development of our organisation and their role within the criminal justice system and accept there recommendations.
We welcome the alignment between the recommendations of the CJINI report and the strategic initiatives already underway in the Agency under its Transformation Programme, which have progressed since the CJINI inspection.
