Examining the use of expert witnesses appearing in the courts in Northern Ireland

This document is the post consultation report following the Department of Justice public consultation to consider the deployment and remuneration arrangements for those expert witnesses in the justice system in Northern Ireland who are funded from the legal aid budget. The consultation ran from 13 November 2014 to 20 February 2015.
