Direction No. 2 - Remuneration arrangements for the pilot Substance Misuse Court Programme (SMCP) is a direction issued by the Department of Justice to the Legal Services Agency under rule 5(1) of the Magistrates' Courts and County Court Appeals (Criminal Legal Aid) (Costs) Rules (Northern Ireland) 2009, as amended ("the 2009 Rules") which sets out the terms in which fees are payable in this type of case.
