Arrangements for notification of sex offenders from jurisdictions outside the UK

The proposal for this modest change to the law to make offenders from jurisdictions outside the UK automatically obliged to notify their personal details to the police within three days of arrival in Northern Ireland was requested by the police, largely in the context of cooperation with the police in the Republic of Ireland on managing the risk posed by sex offenders throughout the island of Ireland.
