Consultation description

A number of steps have been taken in recent years to improve the controls over the use and cost of experts, but there is a shortage of empirical evidence about the impact. This consultation invites comments on how the current arrangements might be strengthened to ensure that expert testimony can make the most useful and appropriate contribution and is cost effective.
