    Summary

    The proposed regulations will continue to ensure the commitment to enable the efficient delivery of the McCloud retrospective remedy for the Police Pension Scheme, by the provision of amendments relating to non-club transfers, Ill health retirement calculations and other technical amendments.

    Consultation description

    The Department welcomes input from policing stakeholders and interested parties to ensure that the final regulations and policies are based on an understanding of how these amendments affect members of the police pension scheme.

    The consultation proposes a number questions which are outlined at section 7 of the consultation document.
