Further reform of the Statutory Charge legislation has been introduced on 10 December 2012 and affects all civil legal aid certificates granted on or after 10 December 2012.

To fund proceedings under the 1981 Order in a manner which is compliant with the provisions of the Convention on the international recovery of child support and other forms of family maintenance, done at the Hague on 23 November 2007.

Guidance on reform of the Statutory Charge legislation, which affects all civil legal aid certificates granted on or after 10 December 2012.

To revoke authorisations 7, 8 and 11 with effect from 1 January 2013, the day upon which the Legal Advice and Assistance (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 come into operation, thus putting the matters contained in these authorisations onto a legislative footing.&

Relates to legal advice and assistance given to a suspect who attends at a youth engagement clinic. 

To fund, consistent with the provisions of this authorisation, the retrial of the civil action brought under Writ issued in 2001 No. 3918, as ordered by the Court of Appeal in July 2011.

To ensure that legal aid is available for proceedings before the care tribunal, relating specifically to appeals taken by individuals deemed to be unsuitable to work with children or vulnerable adults.
