Circular LSA 02-16 – Crown Court Rules Amendments 2016 is to advise Practitioners of the content of the Legal Aid for Crown Court Proceedings (Costs) (Amendment) Rules (Northern Ireland) 2016 (“the 2016 Amendment Rules”). The 2016 Amendment Rules were made by the Department of Justice on 23 March 2016, and they come into operation on 15 April 2016.
This circular also clarifies the position as to when a full day Refresher Fee is payable.
